12. Tuesday night pool at Coops

Coopersmith’s is a local favorite brewpub for plenty of reasons, most notably the handcrafted beer and awesome bar food but it’s also a great place to play pool.  They have 12 tournament size tables along with darts, shuffleboard, a ping pong table and plenty of big screens.  If pool’s your thing be sure to mark Tuesdays on your calendar; you’ll get a free hour of play with your purchase of a pitcher of beer, additional hours are $8 and are prorated by the minute (before 5pm it’s $5/hour).  Also, starting in May there’ll be a  Tuesday night American Poolplayers Assocation league that will meet at Coops.  Get a good team together and you could end up in Vegas. To sign up just stop into Coops or call 303-862-0466.

Other Coops notables:

Sitzgas Green chili beer. You either love it or you hate it.

Hot Soft Pretzels! Dont forget the melted cheddar.

Jingle Ale!! A beer so special it has its own tapping party complete with Santa and bagpipes (check back around Christmas).

Trapper Johns pizza is a meatlovers delight, make yourself feel better by washing it down with a piece of Pesto Pie. They’re both awesome.

If you’re new to Coops remember that there’s 2 sides to the restaurant: poolside and pubside. They have different menus and atmosphere so check out both before you sit down.
