You guys absolutely have to check out Monday night at Hodi’s. They hold an open mic funk jam with some of the best local musicians. Music is always awesome. They also have mugs that you purchase for 5 dollars and get a drink with the purchase…after that it is only 2 dollars for a draft and 1 dollar for a PBR. With that purchase of the mug you can bring it in anytime besides mondays and still get a 1 dollar PBR!

I definitely vote for having chai at the Alley Cat. They fresh grind the spices… best chai in town.

Play disc golf at one of many disc golf ranges (I like Edora Park)

Stroll through the Gardens on Spring Creek, take a class on cooking, plant in the community gardens, or catch the First Saturdays events.

Go hiking to the falls at Horsetooth Reservoir.

Harvest a Christmas tree in Roosevelt National Forest. http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/recreation/christmas/

See a show at GNU: experience gallery. It’s this art gallery that doubles as a music venue. They usually have three or four shows a week. As for the the art work that they display, they change it up every month. When “First Friday” comes they have new art work for that event at 6pm and around 9 maybe 9:30 they have a couple of bands play. This place is right next to Pinball Jones in old town square. They display all they’re events on their facebook page. I can’t recommend this place enough. So go check it out.
